SUNDAY MORNING
Hello, cozy season
Happy Sunday, friends!
I don't know about you, but I've just come out of a week of non-stop rain and gray skies. We've reached that point of the year in the UK where it's dark on the way to work and dark on the way home for the next few months.
And you know what that means? This is officially my hibernation season, and I'm calling it cozy season instead. It might not do much for my social life, but it's the perfect excuse to stay in and finally finish setting up my 2027 planner. Because I can't believe it, but we're officially T-minus 37 days until December. So get those planners out.
01 · THE RITUAL
Find your planner personality
Someone told me recently that they really enjoy my planner content but don't have a planner themselves. They'd been thinking about getting one, but were a little afraid they wouldn't be able to make it look as good as everyone else's.
Here's how I see it. There are so many different planner personalities out there, and we shouldn't let anyone else's spreads intimidate us into thinking ours need to look the same. PlannerTok sits on so many spectrums when it comes to how people use and update their planners. A few I see all the time:
On one end… | …on the other |
|---|---|
The fun planner | The functional planner |
The no-frills planner | The maximalist planner |
The perfectionist planner | The "this book is made to be lived in" planner |
The plan-ahead planner | The log-it-after planner |
The every-single-day planner | The whenever-I-remember planner |
The one-planner-for-everything planner | The planner-for-every-hobby planner |
There's no right answer here. It's personal preference.
So please don't be intimidated by any of this. At the end of the day, this should be fun.
